Chris Stapleton earns a ranking on all three of Pollstar’s weekly charts, including debut appearances on both LIVE75 and Global Concert Pulse based on ticket sales reported from his “All-American Road Show” tour’s current trek through North America. And on the Artist Power Index, he has appeared in the top 50 lineup every week except two since his May 23 performance at Nashville’s Nissan Stadium that kicked off the summer run.

Box-office totals from the first 21 headlining dates on the current leg of the tour show that he has performed for 551,826 fans so far, beginning with a sellout crowd of 47,212 at the Nashville concert through his Aug. 8 performance at Ford Field in Detroit that drew 38,617 attendees. The combined grosses from all 21 concerts total $73.5 million.

With the eight most recent shows landing in LIVE75’s eligibility period, he has the highest-ranked debut on the chart at No. 5, based on a sold-ticket average of 28,280 per show. Three venue types are represented among that select group of dates. The first show was an arena event in Vancouver where he sold 15,386 tickets to a capacity crowd at Rogers Arena on July 22.

Next, he sold out four shows at two outdoor amphitheaters during the remainder of the month. The Gorge Amphitheater in George, Washington, hosted the tour on July 24 and 25, moving just over 44,000 tickets, while Shakopee, Minnesota’s Mystic Lake Amphitheater had a ticket count just under 33,000 from concerts on the 29th and 30th. Then, at the beginning of August, he performed at Cincinnati’s Paycor Stadium and Toronto’s Rogers Stadium prior to his concert at the Detroit venue.

On Global Concert Pulse, ranked by the average gross from shows during a three-month period of chart eligibility, Stapleton debuts at No. 13. His ranking is based on a gross average of $3.4 million from 19 shows on the tour this summer.

Among individual venue totals from the run, Rogers Stadium sold the most tickets for one performance, welcoming a crowd of 54,024 on Aug. 6, while the largest gross was recorded on Aug. 1 at the Cincinnati venue. Paycor Stadium racked up a box-office haul of $7.19 million with an attendance of 41,175.

Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte was the only other venue to top $7 million in ticket revenue, earning $7.18 million from 45,005 sold tickets on June 20. And the stadiums in Detroit, Nashville and Toronto, along with Tampa’s Raymond James Stadium, were the only venues with a gross topping $6 million for one performance.

Stapleton’s “All-American Road Show” has been on the road since 2017, booked almost exclusively in U.S. and Canadian cities, although he played a string of shows in Australia and New Zealand last year and a handful of European dates the previous year and also in 2019. But since launching in the spring of 2017, the tour has included at least one performance every year since then.

Box-office totals from 346 shows that have been reported from the long-running tour reflect an overall gross of $451.9 million from 5,060,126 sold tickets. That averages 14,624 tickets per show with a gross average of $1.31 million. No additional shows have been announced for the tour beyond the dates currently booked through October of this year.
