Visa: Not Everywhere This Band Wants To Be
The Damage Manual, an industrial supergroup founded by ex-Public Image Ltd. drummer and Invisible Records head Martin Atkins, was to have embarked on a North American club tour June 13 – July 3.
Invisible Records issued a statement explaining the postponement was because of processing delays of the band and crews’ U.S. visas, saying, “This problem originated within the immigration system itself and, in fact, has recently affected numerous other touring bands including Eurythmics.”
The imprint also announced that Meg Lee Chin, who was to support The Damage Manual, has instead joined My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult on that band’s month-long North American tour scheduled to begin July 8 in Seattle.
The Damage Manual intends to reschedule the tour in the fall to coincide with the release of its first full-length album, tentatively entitled
