The reason for the postponement isn’t clear, though tour officials changed the Warped venue from Henderson, Nev., to Las Vegas just two days before the scheduled show.

Tickets will be honored at the rescheduled date, which an agency spokesman told Pollstar is “almost definitely” set for August 7.

Meanwhile, rapper Chuck D and his new rock outfit, Confrontation Camp, have backed out of the traveling festival.

Confrontation Camp includes Public Enemy co-founder Professor Griff. The group’s debut release, Objects In The Mirror Are Closer Than They Appear, has been pushed back to August 8.

Chuck D explained in an e-mail posted on the Warped Tour 2000 Web site, “Financially and logistically it was not feasible to do the eight dates we were originally offered by the Vans Warped Tour.

“We would have also had to tour without a new Confrontation Camp album in record stores, so we decided to tour later in the year, after the record is released.”
