The revolving lineup of impressive openers includes Jurassic 5, Queens Of The Stone Age, Busta Rhymes, The Roots, At The Drive-In, and Common. Not all bands appear on all dates.

Stone Temple Pilots join the August 5 bill at RFK Stadium in Washington D.C., and No Doubt plays two shows – August 12 in Boston and August 19 in Detroit.More Rhyme & Reason shows will be announced next week, according to the tour’s publicist. The tour is expected to run through mid-September.

The two headlining acts have also announced plans to donate tour proceeds to local charities and social action organizations. RATM and the Beasties will each donate one dollar per ticket sold to a variety of nonprofits. RATM’s total donations will be distributed through the foundation that bears the band’s name, while the Beastie Boys’ contributions will go to the Milarepa Fund.
