Rimes is recuperating quite nicely, thank you, with the help of vocal therapy and lots of rest, management rep Brigette Barr told Pollstar.

She plans to return to the stage September 29 & 30 at the Silver Legacy casino in Reno, and has re-scheduled previously canceled shows at Caesars Atlantic City and the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts in Cerritos, Calif.

Many of the previously canceled dates were for fairs and festivals, and can’t be rescheduled until next year, according to Barr, who adds that more dates will be booked through November .

Added to the itinerary is Tiger Jam III, a benefit for the Tiger Woods Foundation, in Las Vegas on October 7.

“LeAnn was in attendance at Tiger’s benefit concert last year, and she’s been a big supporter. She loves Tiger; he loves her music, so it’s kind of a two-way street,” Erin Villiotte of the Tiger Woods Foundation told Pollstar.

“Many of her ideas for youth, and youth development, match with Tiger’s pretty well. So that’s why she wants to be involved and why we are happy to have her this year.”

Rimes will also be turning up on the talk show circuit to plug her contribution to the “Coyote Ugly” movie soundtrack. The comedy is due to hit theatres August 4.
