Two Soul Stars To Tour
Luther Vandross and Boyz II Men are teaming up for a co-headline tour of sheds and arenas launching August 22 at the Mars Music Amphitheatre in West Palm Beach, Fla.
The soul veterans will stop in 20 markets, including St. Louis, Cleveland, New York City, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Houston, Los Angeles and Las Vegas before closing out at the Chronicle Pavilion @ Concord near San Francisco.
Both acts, known for silky vocals, are making comebacks of sorts. Vandross’ last album, I Know, was released in 1998. Boyz II Men’s last album release was 1997’s Evolution, but the group have an as-yet-unnamed release expected to hit stores in September.
