The mini-tour features six singer/songwriters sharing songs and stories in an intimate, acoustic setting.

Steve Earle, Nanci Griffith, Bruce Cockburn, Mary Chapin Carpenter and John Prine will join Harris to present these special concerts as well as raise public awareness of the issue.

The artists will perform five East Coast shows December 2-6, and with the exception of Prine, all performers will appear on all dates.

The theatre tour is being presented by the Vietnam Veterans of America Foundation, which earned the 1997 Nobel Peace Prize for its involvement in the International Campaign to Ban Landmines.

The concert project is spearheaded by Harris, who became actively involved in the landmine issue three years ago after participating in a fact-finding mission to Cambodia and Vietnam.

As a result of her first-hand exposure to the devastation in that mine-infested region, she embarked on an effort to bring other musicians to the cause. Harris’ first anti-landmine concerts took place last December in California.
