The tour is expected to run through early October and includes stops at the Ross On Wye Festival in England August 18, the Waterfront in Belfast September 23 and the Hammersmith Apollo in London October 4.

Lewis should be able to handle the enigmatic Morrison, given she’s the sister of Jerry Lee Lewis and cousin to Jimmy Swaggart and Mickey Gilley.

According to the Rockabilly Hall of Fame, Lewis accompanied her brother to the legendary Sun recording studio in Memphis, Tenn., when she was 12 years old and went out on the road with him when she was 14. She met Morrison on one of those early road trips with The Killer.

Though not well known in the States, Lewis has earned quite a following on the European rockabilly circuit.

A U.S. tour with Morrison and Lewis is in the very early planning stage, a Virgin Records spokesperson told Pollstar.
