The co-bill will play 12 shows between September 10 and October 2. The tour launches at the Mercury Lounge in New York City and wraps with two nights at The Mint in Los Angeles.

Sexsmith has spent most of the year touring Europe in support of his most recent release, Whereabouts.

Between tours, he spent almost two months in Nashville working with renegade country artist Steve Earle. Sexsmith was also a featured performer in Steve Nieve’s stage production “Welcome To The Voice” with Elvis Costello.

Originally signed by Interscope Publishing to write songs for other artists, the Ontario native debuted as a performer in his own right with an acclaimed self-titled release in 1995.

Stuart, who recently stepped away from Dog’s Eye View, honed his solo act in support of artists including Paula Cole, David Gray, and Dido earlier this year.

He recently finished recording Songs About You, to be released later this year. Guests on the record include Adam Duritz from Counting Crows, members of Live, and Moon Zappa
