Since joining forces in 1998 with fellow comic D.L. Hughley, they’ve mounted the most successful comedy tour in history and been immortalized on celluloid by director Spike Lee in his film, “The Original Kings of Comedy.”

After taking the spring and summer off, the Kings (minus Hughley) have taken their act on the road again – this time adding a bevy of talented comediennes – as the Kings and Queens of Comedy.

Mo’Nique, the star of UPN’s sitcom “The Parkers”, Adele Givens of Def Comedy Jam, and Sommore, “The Diva of Contemporary Comedy” join the tour to give the gals their due.

If the previous box office records weren’t enough, the combined Kings and Queens of Comedy are shooting for another with a concert at the 40,000-capacity Georgia Dome in Atlanta on October 14.

The comedy cavalcade is playing arenas once again, and will stop in Hartford, Conn.; Baton Rouge, La.; Seattle, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; San Diego, Sacramento, and Buffalo, N.Y.
