There’s No Stopping Macy Gray
She’s been on the road most of the year already and now Macy Gray is using her stint supporting Santana‘s tour as a springboard to launch a 10-date outing of her own.
The singer opens her solo jaunt November 3 at the Civic Coliseum in Knoxville, Tenn., before moving on to Washington, D.C.; New York City, Philadelphia, Detroit, Chicago, Minneapolis and Houston.
Common and Black Eyed Peas open on all dates.
Gray will travel with a nine-piece band to back her debut album, On How Life Is, which has already sold more than 7 million copies worldwide since its July 1999 release.
Though it’s been more than a year since her recording debut, she has cut some tracks for friends since hitting it big. She appears on two songs on Fatboy Slim’s upcoming album, Halfway Between The Gutter And The Stars, due in stores November 7.
