The jaunt will kick off January 22 at the National Car Rental Center in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., and make stops at arenas and indoor stadiums in markets that include Atlanta, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., New York City, Toronto, Pittsburgh, Chicago, Detroit, Denver, San Francisco, Las Vegas, San Diego and Los Angeles.

Tickets go on sale nationally in most cities on December 2.

After winding down this first leg of a worldwide trek, BSB are expected to travel to South America in April, Europe in June and back to the U.S. for a string of summer stadium shows.

Plans have the tour winding down with a Pacific Rim leg, stopping in Japan, Australia and New Zealand.

The Black & Blue world tour follows last-year’s hugely successful Into The Millennium tour, in which the Backstreet Boys – Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, Brian Littrell, AJ McLean and Kevin Richardson – sold 765,000 tickets in one day for the 11-week, 39-city tour.
