The sometime-Eagle is picking up where he left off, playing mainly in cozy theatres. The earliest date so far is a February 21 show at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta, but most of the itinerary takes him to secondary markets such as Newark, N.J., and Merrillville, Ind.

Henley has thrown a couple of arenas into the mix with dates at the Bryce Jordan Center in State College, Pa., and the Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, Mich.

His reps are so far keeping mum if he intends to expand the schedule into a full-blown caravan.

Inside Job was Henley’s first solo release since 1989’s The End of the Innocence. In between solo releases, he managed to keep himself busy with an Eagles reunion album and tour.

He’s hinted around in the press at the possibility of another regrouping of the quintessential 1970s Southern California rock outfit, but the band has no tour plans at this time.
