The Boston band had originally planned to take a version of its annual Hometown Throwdown series of club concerts on the road. But with the addition of a revolving list of support acts, the Warped affiliation and corporate sponsorship, the trek will involve a lot more than simply extended club stands.

The caravan rolls out March 15 in Milwaukee, and is so far slated to play 27 shows in 14 cities, including four-night stands in Minneapolis and San Francisco. The package plays three nights each in Los Angeles, Houston, New York City.

Among the rotating cast of supporting artists are Voodoo Glow Skulls, Agent Orange, Flogging Molly, Fenix TX, and No Use For A Name. Different bands will play different nights and additional support acts may be named soon.

Along the way, the Bosstones will appear March 25 at The Joint in Las Vegas to benefit the third annual Duffing for Dollars charity golf tournament.

Warped Inside will have a corresponding micro Web site, where fans can sign up for ticket giveaways and a sweepstakes to win a trip for two to one of the shows on this summer’s Warped Tour.
