Madonna’s First Boston Show Postponed
The Material Girl’s Drowned World Tour stop in Boston has been pushed back a day. The August 6 concert – the first of Madonna‘s two sold-out shows at the FleetCenter – has been moved to the following night. Her August 8 concert will take place as planned.
Offering no other explanation than “logistical issues,” tour promoters said tickets for the August 6 concert will be honored at the rescheduled August 7 show, and refunds are being offered at points of purchase for those who can’t make the new date.
The tour kicked off in Europe in early June and the U.S. leg launched in Philadelphia on July 21. This leg of The Drowned World sinks into history September 14 after a four-night run at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
