Reports indicate Esham caught the worst of it in terms of physical injuries. According to his record company, he was kicked and struck in the head repeatedly by several people in the D-12 entourage and suffered multiple injuries, including a possible broken nose and ruptured eyeball.

He was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, according to the company’s statement.

A rep from Overture Music said reports charging “aggravated assault and possible attempted murder” were filed by Esham at the hospital against unspecified members of D-12. No arrests or charges could be immediately confirmed by Camden, N.J. police.

Also caught in the melee was rapper T.N.T., who reportedly received several bruises and cuts but did not require hospitalization.

The feud between Esham and D-12 has been brewing for a long time. Both camps have a history of taking public swipes at the other in the press and often from the concert stage.
