Artists expected to perform thus far are Tool, The Black Crowes, Snoop Dogg, Missy Elliott, Spooks, G. Love & Special Sauce, Better Than Ezra, Gov’t Mule, Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe, John Mayer, Will Hoge, and Tuba. More acts will be announced soon.

Last year’s Voodoo festival attracted 65,000 fans over Halloween weekend and featured Ben Harper and the Innocent Criminals, Counting Crows, Blues Traveler, 311, Black Eyed Peas, Guster, Rhazel, and Stone Temple Pilots, to name a few.

The Voodoo Music Experience is presented by Sony PlayStation II and you can bet there will be plenty of video game tie-ins at the fest.

Those who can’t make the trip to New Orleans will be able to catch all the action live via webcast at www.voodoomusicfest.com. Tickets for the event can be purchased there, too.
