Twila Paris Celebrates 20 Years
Accompanying Paris on the Twila Paris & Friends tour will be recording artists Michelle Tumes and Out Of The Grey, as well as her husband and new baby, Jack.
The tour is set to start October 4 and runs through November 18, stopping at churches and theatres along the way.
Husband and wife duo Out Of The Grey have received widespread critical acclaim within Christian artist circles and outside. Scott and Christine Dente met at the Berklee School of Music and have seven albums under their belts including one due August 28.
Michelle Tumes gets compared to Enya thanks to her ethereal vocals and peaceful music. She was introduced to touring when she supported Latin sensation Jaci Velasquez in 1998. She has since penned songs for Sixpence None The Richer, Velasquez, and Point of Grace, making her not only a popular singer, but a sought-after songwriter as well.
“I’m really looking forward to this tour – both on and off stage,” said Paris. “Out Of The Grey and Michelle Tumes are not only gifted artists, but wonderful people as well. Baby Jack will be one of five children coming along, so we are definitely expecting lots of fun!”
This tour is in celebration of Paris’ two decades of performing and coincides with the September release of her Greatest Hits album.
Paris recently recorded a children’s album as well. Bedtime Prayers, Lullabies hit Billboard’s Children’s Albums chart in May.
