This tour marks the first time since 1994 that Amos has toured without a band. She’ll play intimate theatres suited for her piano-and-vocal set.

Her last road trip took place in 1999, when joined Alanis Morissette for a five-week summer tour and headlined theatres with a full band.

Amos’ new album, Strange Little Girls, will be released in mid-September and comprises 12 songs written by men, but performed by Amos from the perspectives of a diverse cast of female characters. It includes tracks by Eminem, Slayer, Neil Young, Tom Waits, Lou Reed, Depeche Mode and others.
