Beginning October 18 in Minneapolis and traveling the States and Canada until November 22, Cherry will hit intimate clubs and small theatre venues along the way.

Joining the Swedish-American artist is English singer/songwriter Leona Naess, who cut her musical teeth performing in Lower Manhattan clubs like CBGB and the Bitter End. Naess spent some time last year supporting Cherry on a mini-tour. Her new album, I Try To Rock You But You Only Roll, is due in October.

The son of jazz legend Don Cherry broke into the U.S. mainstream in the late ‘90s with his debut album, Desireless. Success from the singles “Save Tonight” and “Falling in Love Again” helped earn him a Grammy nomination.

Since then, he has collaborated with the Dust Brothers and Maxim from the Prodigy. Most notably, he wrote and performed “Wishing It Was” for Carlos Santana’s multi-Grammy winning album, Supernatural.
