Starting October 2 in San Francisco, the freak show makes its way across the States until November 11.

Insane Clown Posse are as adored as they are hated for their on-and off-stage antics. Their performances – which feature theatrical stage sets, costumed monsters, and gallons of Faygo soda to spray on the audience – are harmless enough. But it’s their after hours “shows” that more often land the guys in the spotlight and headlines.

Hailing from Detroit, ICP and their associates are natural rivals of Eminem and his crew. Just this past May, posse pal William Diel choked a concert-goer unconscious when he waved an Eminem T-shirt at the band and tossed M&M candies onto the stage. And it was Diel’s brother who found himself staring down a barrel in Eminem’s hand in Michigan last year.

Joining ICP for the Hatchet Rising Tour are their protégés, Twiztid. The groups have shared not only the stage extensively during the past three years, they also have the same passion for outrageous costuming, theatrical shenanigans, and the serial-killer horror films that inspire their work.

Rounding out the set are Blaze – which has been a support group for ICP and Twiztid in recent years -and newcomers Dark Lotus.
