Artists Added To McCartney Benefit Show
More artists have joined the bill for the October 20 benefit concert at New York City’s Madison Square Garden. The Who, James Taylor, Macy Gray, Bon Jovi, John Mellencamp, Melissa Etheridge, Goo Goo Dolls, India.Arie, Jim Carrey, Jerry Seinfeld, Gwyneth Paltrow, John Cusack, and various members of New York sports teams.
One hundred percent of the money raised from the concert will go to the Robin Hood Relief Fund which distributes funds to charities benefitting the victims, including the Twin Towers Fund.
The show will be broadcast live on VH1 at 8:00 p.m. (EDT/PDT) as well as other television and radio networks worldwide.
