Then in February, Usher jets overseas for the European portion of his tour, stopping in Germany, U.K. Belgium, and beyond. Details on the European tour leg have yet to be announced. After wrapping things up abroad, Usher returns home for the second leg of his U.S. tour, this time going big and playing in arenas.

Usher is giving his fans the opportunity to come up with a title for the tour. Submissions can be made on www.usherworld.com, with the winner from the contest getting free tickets and backstage passes to meet the star at one of the shows.

Since his debut in 1994, Usher has taken the quick route to the top – touring alongside Janet Jackson, Mary J. Blige and P. Diddy (back when he was Puff Daddy); receiving numerous nominations and awards; has been featured in several movies and on TV programs; and has dominated the R&B charts with hits such as “You Make Me Wanna” and “Nice & Slow.”

This tour is in support of his latest album, 8701.
