Soul singer/songwriter Gabrielle has inked in show at Glasgow, Newcastle, London, Cardiff, Nottingham, Birmingham, and Manchester, June 4 – 15. Tickets are already on sale for those who like to plan ahead.

The announcement comes in the middle of Gabrielle’s current U.K. tour. The trek is proving so successful, the former nightclub singer and 1993 Brit Award winner will move up to the arena circuit for her summer plans.

She’s not well-known in the States but Gabrielle has been a solid fixture on Britain’s soul scene for nearly 10 years.

She has enjoyed a renewed interest in her music lately thanks to songs on the “Magnolia” and “Bridget Jones’ Diary” soundtracks. Rise, her third and latest album of new music, has been called her best to date and sold more than 600,000 copies within three months.

Early November saw the U.K. release of Dreams Can Come True – Greatest Hits Volume I.

Pop fans can get a summer concert fix when former Boyzone heartbreaker Ronan Keating hits similar arenas – Birmingham, London, Sheffield, Glasgow, Manchester, and Newcastle – for his June 11 – July 2 Destination 02 tour.

These U.K. dates are just a taste of what’s to come, as Keating anticipates a full-scale international tour between April and July. Tickets for the U.K. arena shows went on sale December 1.
