Along with the Speaking Of Now album, which will be released February 12, the Pat Metheny Group also has a new lineup. Richard Bona (vocals and percussion), Cuong Vu (trumpet and vocals) and Antonio Sanchez (drums) are the new guys, while namesake Pat Metheny (guitar) and mainstays Lyle Mays (piano and keyboards) and Steve Rodby (bass) continue on.

Headed by Pat Metheny, the Group was formed in 1978 with Mays, Mark Egan and Dan Gottlieb. Before long, the Pat Metheny Group was touted as one the world’s most popular jazz groups.

Although the faces have changed over the years, the Pat Metheny Group remains committed to producing top notch jazz. They’ve been awarded an unprecedented seven consecutive Grammy Awards for seven consecutive album releases and are one of the most highly regarded jazz groups around.
