After conquering North America, Weezer set sail for Spain where they play three gigs. The Cranberries headline those shows, which take place March 13, 15 and 16.

May finds Weezer in Japan for nine dates – May 16-27. America’s favorite geek rockers plan on having a new album out by that time. The yet-to-be-named disc is expected to hit stores sometime at the end of April.

Meanwhile, fans in search of a Weezer fix can log on to the band’s official Web site at www.weezer.com and download up to 13 demo songs – many of which are expected to appear on the new album.

Along with their new tour dates, Weezer is scheduled to participate in one of the four Concerts For Artists Rights taking place in the Los Angeles area on February 26. They’ll join No Doubt and The Offspring at the Long Beach Arena for the benefit event.
