Chesney’s support roster is a bit helter-skelter as the artists trade around shows, but for the crux of the tour he’ll be accompanied by at least two openers: Sara Evans guests on all shows, from January 31 through March 23; Phil Vassar hops on board February 1-2, and then rejoins from March 7-23; and Carolyn Dawn Johnson supports beginning February 1, 7, 9-16, and March 7-23.

Smack dab in the middle of this new tour, Chesney is taking one day out to play at the RodeoHouston. The February 27 show features the artist sans support, if you don’t count the livestock.

Already making plans for the summer, Chesney has inked his name on two Country Jam USA festivals, June 27 and July 19. The festivals feature weekends chock full with country artists, among them Aaron Tippin, Evans, Sawyer Brown, Toby Keith, Lonestar, Alabama, John Michael Montgomery, Mark Chesnutt and Tracy Lawrence.

A new album, No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problem, will hit the stores one month after the end of Chesney’s tour, on April 23.

For his touring efforts last year, Chesney netted a No. 56 ranking on Pollstar’s Top 100 Tours. Vassar and Evans helped support for the fall run.
