Drawing on mixed inspirations such as KISS and Hedwig & The Angry Inch, the Toilet Boys formed in the late ‘90s as a backing band for Debbie Harry. Headed by transsexual artist Miss Guy, who was already a DJ staple in the NY club scene, the Toilet Boys found such success from their one-show stint that they decided to have a go at being a full-fledged band.

Right from the start, the Toilet Boys found their niche in the ‘80s pop-metal crowds. With concerts that include glam nods such as dry-ice smoke, sparking guitars, smudgepots and, of course, lots of makeup and drama, the Toilet Boys soon gained a steady cult following around NY clubs.

Although they’ve been a bonafide band for about four years, including tours with The Damned, The Donnas, Rancid and Lunachicks, the Toilet Boys only released their self-titled debut album in September of 2001. Prior to that, they’d set out two EPs: Saints And Sinners in January 2001 and Living Like A Millionaire in 1999.

Running up to their U.S. tour, the Toilet Boys have a handful of U.K. and Spain shows.
