Kid Rock Takes To The Lonely Road
Kid Rock gets set to mount the first leg of his North American tour. Kicking things off at the already sold-out show February 22 at the Wendler Arena in Saginaw, Mich., Kid Rock and his Twisted Brown Trucker Band make their way across the States with dates continuing through May.
A summer tour is expected to follow and details will be announced as they are confirmed.
This is Kid Rock’s first tour behind his latest album, Cocky, which debuted in late November. Last year he spent some time on the road with Buckcherry and Fuel supporting The History Of Rock. The 15-date, new year venture saw the bands playing to many sold out crowds in 7,000 – 12,000 capacity venues.
The outing was the first for Kid Rock since August 2000, and the first since the death of his diminutive sidekick Joe C.
Several shows are already on sale, with tickets in the $20 to $30 range.
