“Since we’ve did our first tour in ‘96, we’ve watched the American scene grow and hopefully we’ve grown with it,” said John and Sasha. “The Delta Heavy tour gives us an opportunity to play in cities we’ve never played in before and bring something special to each and every event.”

Providing the visuals for the tour are Imaginary Forces, who are responsible for the opening credit sequence in the film “Seven.” Karin Fong, creative director of Imaginary Forces, explained, “Delta Heavy represents a lost civilization that has a past, present and future. Using a tribal theme, we’ve designed alter-egos for Sasha and John and are expanding the family of characters to include (opening act) Jimmy Van M.”

Along with specially designed visuals, the Delta Heavy tour will feature interactive lighting that respond to both the crowd and the music. Each venue installation will be built from scratch, which makes this venture the biggest Sasha & John Digweed undertaking.

Somewhere around the middle of the Delta Heavy tour, Sasha & John Digweed will be making a pit stop at a little event called the . The pair’s slot is for April 27, when they’ll share the day with the likes of Bjork, Cake, Pete Yorn, Belle & Sebastian, Groove Armada and Cornershop, among others.
