Siouxsie and her crew – Budgie, Steve Severin and Knox – start the merriment with a show at Nation in Washington, D.C., April 17. Roseland in New York takes April 19. The Vic Theatre in Chicago grabs the April 21 date, with the Warfield in San Francisco on the bill for the 25th. Everything culminates when The Banshees show up at the Coachella Music Festival April 27.

All shows except for Coachella Music Festival are priced at $35. Coachella is going for $75, but that’s a day pass good for catching any of the many artists playing April 27.

Siouxsie & The Banshees broke up in 1996 after a two-decade-long career. They were formed in London during the mid-‘70s by vocalist Siouxsie Sioux, bassist Steve Severin and guitarist Marco Perroni. Drummer John Simon Ritchie, who went by the name of Sid Vicious, left the group soon after their formation to hook up with the Sex Pistols. Not long after that, Perroni joined Adam and the Ants.

With two members gone, Sioux and Severin recruited John McKay and Kenny Morris into their fold and hit the U.K. charts with their 1978 debut single, “Hong Kong Garden.”

They quickly became one of punk music’s most prominent acts, spawning hit albums and songs like “Happy House,” “Cities In Dust,” “Peek-A-Boo” and “Kiss Them For Me.”

Siouxsie and Budgie eventually married and after The Banshees broke up, the two continued with their ongoing side project, The Creatures.
