Although there’s been several names thrown around as possible opening acts, Faith Evans, Nas and Mr. Cheeks are the lucky three who’ve won the coveted spot. They open on all shows – 41 total – through July 14.

Along with making two recent additions to his trophy collection – Usher won Grammy and Soul Train Awards for his latest album 8701 – Usher just wrapped a 20-city European tour.

Since his debut in 1994, Usher has taken the quick route to the top – touring alongside Janet Jackson, Mary J. Blige and P. Diddy (back when he was Puff Daddy); receiving numerous nominations and awards; has been featured in several movies and on TV programs; and has dominated the R&B charts with hits such as “You Make Me Wanna” and “Nice & Slow.”

Tickets for this tour, Usher’s first Stateside venture in four years, are already on sale.
