The Calling’s Close One
Aaron Kamin of The Calling has been shocked by more than his band’s success. At The Calling’s April 4 sound check in Bangkok, Thailand, Kamin suffered a severe electrical shock. The guitarist was rushed to the hospital where he was treated and released for burns to his hands.
Naturally, their show at the Brew Pavilion was canceled, although the band hopes to return and make it up to their fans.
The Calling are currently in the middle of an international tour supporting their debut album Camino Palmero, which is heading toward platinum thanks to hits like “Wherever You Will Go.”
Right now, their next shows – Melbourne and Sydney, Australia, April 9 and 11 – are still on. After touching the land downunder, the group goes to Germany for one show before heading back Stateside.
