While Roxy Music reunited last year for an international tour, Ferry himself hasn’t done a solo tour since the end of 1999.

The original Roxy Music band members Ferry (vocals), Andy Mackay (saxophone) and Phil Manzanera (guitar) took off on a “final” tour last year, 18 years after their previous one. Brian Eno, also part of the original lineup, did not tour with the band.

Ferry’s latest musical offering, Frantic, was released April 29. It’s his first album of new tunes since 1994’s Mamouna and features two covers of Bob Dylan tracks as well as some help from Radiohead guitarist Jonny Greenwood. Other musicians contributing to Frantic include Lucy Wilkins on violin and Sarah Brown on backing vocals, both of whom performed on Roxy Music’s tour last year.

No support has been announced for this outing.
