A spokesperson for Ronstadt told POLLSTAR that Ronstadt chose a small tour to accommodate her family, as she is a single mom with two children. Her kids will be joining the tour this summer, giving Ronstadt an opportunity to share the music she loves with her fans while remaining a dedicated parent.

With a career that spans four decades, 32 albums and encompasses genres ranging from jazz to folk to Latin and Afro-Cuban music, Ronstadt is the definition of diverse. She began her career in the late ‘60s as a member of the Stone Poneys. While they enjoyed moderate success, it wasn’t until Ronstadt embarked on a solo career that things really took off.

Her third album, released in 1971, featured some session musicians that would go on to become the Eagles, and helped establish Ronstadt as a leading player in the folk-rock scene. Her 1974 release, Heart Like A Wheel, cemented her success when the album reached No.1.

An incredibly versatile artist, Ronstadt has embraced a range of sounds from country-folk to rock, new wave, Broadway, pop and Latin. However varied her music, though, Ronstadt has had continued success.
