As the rumors indicated, Dashboard Confessional have been confirmed for the whole of the tour, while The Strokes are said to be on some dates, but exactly which ones are not clear yet. Opening on the whole tour are Sparta, which comprises a few members from the now-defunct At The Drive In.

The six-week shed tour looks to wrap sometime around mid-August while on the West Coast.

This will be Weezer’s first outing supporting their latest album, Maladroit, which is currently riding somewhere around the top 5 of the charts. Not ones to rest on their laurels, Weezer are already thinking about a follow-up album to Maladroit, which mastermind Rivers Cuomo says will hit shelves in February.

For now, Weezer are in Japan through May 27. After the Enlightenment Tour, they head over to the U.K. for a couple of festival shows toward the end of August.
