Special guest Todd Rundgren hops onboard beginning August 9 and sticks around for the rest of the month.

Along with announcing new tour plans, Hall & Oates are releasing their first single in five years, “Do It For Love.” The song is featured on the VH1 Behind The Music: The Daryl Hall & John Oates Collection album.

In addition to their new single, Oates has been working on a solo album set for release August 8. Titled Phunk Shui, the album is Oates’ first solo project and features the talents of former Wings drummer, Steve Holly; T-Bone Wolk on guitar and bass; co-producer Jed Leiber on keys; and Oates tackling the guitar and vocal duties. Together, they form the band, also titled Phunk Shui.

With a career that spans more than 30 years and 17 albums, Hall & Oates rank among the top vocal duos. Their hits include “Rich Girl,” “Maneater,” “Private Eyes,” and “Sara Smile.”
