Creed and company will play 30 shows on the first leg of the tour, concentrating on Midwest, Northeast and Mid-Atlantic cities. In total, the band anticipates playing 70 gigs before the end of the year.

The second leg of the tour looks to start in San Antonio September 20 and will include many make-up shows on the West Coast. Venues have yet to be announced.

Tickets for select shows from the first set of dates go on sale starting June 8.

Frontman Scott Stapp was involved in an auto accident in April and subsequently pulled the plug on the band’s U.S. Weathered tour.

Stapp suffered back injuries during the accident, including a torn disk in his lower back and a bulging disc in his neck. Doctors have cleared Stapp to perform again after allowing time for the discs in his back to heal. In addition, they were happy with the success of a rigorous physical therapy and strengthening program.
