Moore will be joined by as they co-headline the outing, which also features support from and Sheila Nicholls on select dates.

It’s been several years since Moore last toured. POLLSTAR’s records indicate that she’s been largely absent from the road since 1997 when she joined Lilith Fair for a few shows. It was also in 1997 that Moore released her Grammy-nominated album, Strangest Places.

Now, Moore is back with a new album, No Fear, and of course, a new tour. The founding member of eclectic folk-rock group Poi Dog Pondering has recently had her music featured in the films “Cruel Intentions” and “Sliding Doors,” and TV shows including “Felicity,” “Alias,” and “Dawson’s Creek.”

Baerwald is best known as half of the ‘80s pop duo David + David, whose hits include “Welcome To The Boomtown.” After the demise of the group, Baerwald went on to record as a solo artist, releasing two critically acclaimed albums as well as co-writing a number of songs as part of Sheryl Crow’s Tuesday Night Music Club, for the album of the same name.

Baerwald’s artistic talents can also be found on collaborations with The Edge from U2, Robbie Robertson, Waylon Jennings, and Jewel, among others.

Most recently, his song “Come What May” from the movie “Moulin Rouge” was nominated for a Golden Globe Award.

Baerwald’s third album, Here Comes The New Folk Underground, is due out in August, while Moore’s No Fear hits shelves in July.
