The outing follows on the heels of ALL’s Deconstruction tour in Europe.

For those not on the up-and-up with the LA punk scene, ALL rose from the ashes of melodic punk rockers the Descendents. In the early ‘80s, singer Milo Aukerman traded in the spotlight for a college education. The remaining members – Bill Stevenson, Stephen Egerton, and Karl Alvarez – chose to soldier on and took their name, ALL, from the title of the Descendents’ last album, which released in 1987.

ALL recruited singer Dave Smalley at the start of their non-Descendent career. Smalley was eventually replaced by Scott Reynolds, who was replaced by current vocalist Chad Price.

ALL have been a steady presence on the touring scene, having supported or headlined with the likes of The Ataris, Voodoo Glow Skulls, and Pennywise in recent years.

The band has two albums slated for release in late summer. One features all new ALL tunes, while the other will be “largely instrumental, totally experimental, and released as … well, either an ALL or Descendents album,” according to the band.

A new Descendents album is also in the works with a summer release date.
