A chunk of dates in the middle of the month will be spent sharing the stage with . Lead by Phish member Page McConnell, Vida Blue comprises Oteil Burbridge of Allman Brothers Band fame and Russell Batiste of Funky Meters. The band has a July packed with gigs to promote their self-titled debut album, which recently hit shelves.

Since their formation as high school students in the early’90s, The Slip have honed their craft to become a fan favorite within the jam band community. While their roots are in rock, jazz and world rhythms, the band believes their uniqueness is in their ability to take a song to the edge of chaos and back.

“I feel that we’re more a modern representation of roots music,” said bassist Marc Friedman.

In their time together, The Slip has released three albums – Angels Come On Time being the most recent – and toured alongside the likes of Bela Fleck And The Flecktones, Charlie Hunter, Maceo Parker, and Les Claypool.
