Korn are locking in dates for a two-month outing. Right now, the band looks to start the anti-pop brigade in Manchester, N.H., October 8. Dates and venues are confirmed through the month, with more expected to be added.

For the Pop Sux! tour, Korn are making sure that fans under the age of 19 aren’t priced out of attending the concerts. A limited number of tickets for the kids will be available with a $10 discount.

“We just think that right now, because the economy is so screwed, kids are getting it the worst,” lead singer Jonathan Davis said. “And we know that there aren’t that many parents buying Korn tickets for kids right now, so we wanted to do something for our younger fans.”

This is Korn’s second outing in support of their album Untouchables, which was released in June.

The earlier trek, titled Tour With No Name, marked Korn’s first-ever “in the round” performances with the band playing on a round stage positioned at one end of the venue and each member playing to different sides of the arena during the concert.

Fans attending Pop Sux! won’t see the same stage, but that’s not to say they’re getting less bang for their buck. Although the stage won’t be as elaborate, video screens projecting “original footage” and new lighting schemes will mix things up.

“We’re making it more about the band than the huge light shows and all that other stuff,” Davis said. “Overall, we like it a lot better.”

Die-hard fans eager to get the first tickets can sign up for Korn Kamp on the band’s official Web site. Happy Kampers will have access to members-only video clips, road reports, contests and the all-essential ticket presale.

As a bonus, or perhaps incentive to purchase the new album, those who have Untouchables can use the CD to unlock a free membership through September 15, escaping the normal $15 fee.
