The band have also beefed up their December charity concert by adding another night. The event takes now place December 8-9 at Seattle’s Key Arena and will benefit a variety of charity organizations.

There are rumors that Queens Of The Stone Age and Audioslave – the Rage Against The Machine/Chris Cornell group – will also perform at the December shows, but no official announcement has been made.

The Ten Club – Pearl Jam’s fan club – is offering all active members a chance to purchase tickets to see the band’s charity gigs. Five hundred tickets are reserved and will be awarded by a lottery drawing. Winners will be selected at random.

Aside from a few benefit gigs and one-off appearances, it’s been a couple of years since Pearl Jam has toured. In 2000, they ventured around the States with Supergrass, Sonic Youth, and Dismemberment Plan supporting. Their last show was in September when they supported The Who in Chicago.

Pearl Jam’s new album, Riot Act, is due out November 12.
