Both Dylan and DiFranco have new live albums just out. Dylan’s Live 1975: The Rolling Thunder Revue is collection of music culled from many years ago, but that hasn’t stopped the critics from giving their stamp of approval. The disc is the fifth in The Bootleg Series and features selections from recordings of performances in Worcester, Cambridge, Boston, and Montreal.

DiFranco’s double-disc album, So Much Shouting, So Much Laughter, sports a slew of tunes spanning the course of her career, all recorded with the six-piece band she toured with in 2000-2002.

The Waifs, on the other hand, have bucked the Dylan/DiFranco trend and have an album of new tunes coming out. Up All Night is set for release January 13 in Australia.

As for touring plans after the Australia/New Zealand venture, DiFranco and The Waifs will each head up to the States for the spring.
