Performers have yet to be announced, but you can bet the lineup is going to rival last year’s event.

“We’re excited about the opportunity to use the experience we gained from the first Bonnaroo to make what was a really great festival even better,” Jonathan Mayers of event producer Superfly said.

“Last year there was a tremendous audience response to artists as diverse as Del McCoury, Norah Jones, and Jurassic 5, along with headliners Widespread Panic and Trey Anastasio.

“The Bonnaroo audience is very open-minded and they embrace a wide variety of great music. It’s really exciting and it gives us a unique opportunity to program an extraordinary spectrum of music for the 2003 festival,” Mayers said.

Boasting to an eclectic lineup, the inaugural Bonnaroo fest was heralded by fans, press and the music industry as one of the best festivals for the summer.
