The Pompano Beach, Fla.- based band is kicking off the new year in a big way with their first major headlining tour. Both Elliott and The Beautiful Mistake are supporting from February 17 through March 5 – right around the middle of the monthlong outing.

The band’s most recent foray into the tour world was as support to New Found Glory’s trek in October and November. Although that outing only took up two months of 2002, Further Seems Forever were on the road for a good chunk of the remaining months, supporting various groups including Rufio and Hot Rod Circuit.

For the Internet savvy, the Further guys have two new songs from their upcoming release, How To Start A Fire, available for download on mp3.com. The new album is due out sometime in early 2003 and follows the band’s 2001 debut, Moon Is Down.
