Meanwhile, Ja Rule is bridging both worlds simultaneously. He released his fourth album, The Last Temptation, last fall and is working on the remake of “Sparkle” with Ashanti. He’s also mentioned there might be a role in the “Fast And The Furious” sequel. Either way, the man is busy and to add to his already packed schedule, he’s hitting the road for a monthlong tour.

Appearing alongside the rapper for the tour – which runs from January 29 through February 20 – is Eve, who has been busy in front of the camera herself. Aside from supporting roles in the flicks “XXX” and “Barbershop,” the Ruff Ryder is slated to star in a sitcom for UPN.

Both Ja Rule and Eve are up for Grammys this year. Ja Rule’s duet with Ashanti, “Always On Time” from his Pain Is Love album, has received a nod as well as Eve’s “Satisfaction” track from her Eve-olution disc.
