The Seattle rockers are kicking off with a trio of shows beginning February 11 in Sydney, Australia. Ex-Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr’s new band Johnny Marr & the Healers will open the downunder leg of the trek.

Next Pearl Jam move to Japan, where no support has been announced, before heading back to the States.

No-frills rockers Sleater-Kinney jump onboard when the North American dates start April 1 in Denver. Pearl Jam will proceed to make their way around the country, exchanging Sleater-Kinney for At The Drive-In alumni Sparta on April 18.

After a short break from the road in May, Idlewild pick up where Sparta leaves off May 28, staying with the band through mid-June, after which legendary English punks the Buzzcocks will open through July 5. The tour is scheduled to wrap with two shows at New York City’s Madison Square Garden July 8-9.

Although ticket sales for the general public have not yet been announced for the North American tour, members of Pearl Jam’s Ten Club are to receive information this week on purchasing priority tickets.
