The group will be spreading their distinctive jam-band flavorings all over the States, beginning in Danbury, Conn. on February 26 and working their way across the country to San Francisco, where they will fill two nights at the Fillmore April 4-5. One last gig is scheduled for May 1 in New Orleans.

Pedal steel sensation Randolph, a New Jersey native, was discovered at the first Sacred Steel Convention in 2000. Shortly afterward, he began to make waves throughout the New York club scene with his unique sound and soon found himself invited to play with notables such as the Blind Boys of Alabama, the North Mississippi Allstars, and John Medeski of Medeski, Martin & Wood.

He has guested on several albums in addition to appearing twice on Arhoolie’s Sacred Steel series, and released an album with his Family Band titled Live At The Wetlands in the fall of 2001.

Hazy Malaze will support for much of the tour, with the North Mississippi Allstars appearing for a few dates, including the Fillmore shows. Tickets are available through Ticketmaster and also directly through www.robertrandolph.net.
