“We were looking for a way to re-connect with our fans on an intimate level and the acoustic tour is a great way to do that while reminding us as songwriters and musicians what we love about making music,” lead singer Emerson Hart said.

Since forming in the mid-‘90s, Tonic has been a fan favorite for their live performances. And, for their efforts, they’ve been rewarded with a Grammy nod for 2003 in the best rock performance category.

They’re also up for a Grammy for best rock album – no small feat considering they’ve been all but completely out of the spotlight for the past few years. The album, Head On Straight, comes three years after their hit disc Sugar, and their return to the road is the first since 2000.
